Gasham Case was born March 16, 1815 in West Cincinnati, OH. Susan Catherine Fitchett was born May 11, 1817 at Walnut Landing, MD. Case first came to San Bernardino in 1852. He worked as a freighter between Utah and California for many years. He also acted as a horse doctor, a cooper, as well as doing farming. Susan died at Willows, CA in 1898 and Gasham died October 20, 1885 in San Bernardino.
