Rebecca (Reed) Catlain Taussig Berry was born May 3, 1832 in England. She first married John Catlain who was killed in Utah. She married Louis Taussig in 1857 and he is said to have disappeared during an Indian raid. Then Rebecca married John F. Berry. She died on December 23, 1886 and is buried at Santa Ana, California.
