Adeline (Downey) Yager was born on August 8, 1830 in Canada and came to the United States in 1845 where she married Urijah Hardin Yager. She traveled with him to Salt Lake City, UT in 1849 and they came to San Bernardino in June of 1854. She died in San Bernardino on January 6, 1912 and is buried in the San Bernardino Pioneer Cemetery.
